Canal Street is also part of the Boston Planning and Development Agency's North Station Area Mobility Plan, which in connection with the Boston Transportation Department will develop near-term, multimodal transportation improvements in the areas immediately adjacent to North Station.

As July 8th approaches, the Boston Transportation Department will issue an advisory regarding the Open Canal Street event. Visitors are encouraged to encouraged to utilize public transit the day of the event.

There is anxiety related to issues of race both locally and nationally. Help to ease some of that anxiety by building relationships with your fellow Bostonians. Join us on the Rose Kennedy Greenway to celebrate family, fun and culture in Boston. This is a family friendly event, packed with music, activities, games and much more!

All residents of Boston are invited, along with those from surrounding communities. This event is put together by:

• the National Center for Race Amity at Wheelock College, and
• the Hyams Foundation.

Living On A Bad Name is uniquely set apart from the other Bon Jovi tribute bands and frankly from almost all other tribute acts available on the market today. Each night they give it their all. Our musicianship starts out with the masterful guitar playing of Ethan Brosh. Ethan is a world renowned recording artist with profound influence in the heavy metal guitar world. This Berklee College of Music wizard  has guest artists on his records such as: George Lynch of Dokken, Dave Ellefson of Megadeth, Mike Mangini of Dream Theater, "Satchel" of Steel Panther, Greg Howe among others. Boston radio personality Ken Pittman performs the part of Jon Bon Jovi. Unlike  other JBJ tribute vocalists who go for the easier post 2000 version, Ken zeroes in on the vintage and distinct1980s Bon Jovi voice. With Ken's son Keith on percussions (since he was 12!), veteran rockers John Miker and Scott Poole on bass and keyboards, this roster is Rock-solid.​

The impersonation is peerless, the energy, tones, sounds, musicianship and chemistry in this band has to be seen and heard to be believed.

The Ancient Fishweir Project on Boston Common will be installed by students from Boston's Josiah Quincy School.
On June 5, school groups attending Making History Day will participate on-site in dance and music performances by the Wampanoag Nation Singers and Dancers.
