Family-Friendly Wetlands Walk

Cap off school vacation week by spending some time outdoors and learning more about wetlands ecology, the history of neighborhood advocacy, and the ecological restoration work now underway. Boston Urban Wilds staff will lead the way. Meet at the Coniston Road entrance (25 Coniston Road, Roslindale, MA 02131).

April 21, 2023
2023-04-21T10:30:00 - 2023-04-21T11:30:00

The Urban Wilds Program and neighbors of Roslindale Wetlands welcome families and individuals to join us on a fun and educational walk through the wetlands. We will talk about the importance of wetlands in Boston, how residents worked with the City to protect Roslindale Wetlands, and how we can work together to keep places like this healthy. The walk will last up to one hour and participants should be ready for the possibility of a few muddy and uneven sections of trail.
