City of Boston Traffic Advisory for Friday, September 9, 2022
This year's Rose Garden Party, is taking place in the James P. Kelleher Rose Garden on Friday September 9, from 5 - 7:30 p.m.
One lane of Park Drive from Agassiz Road to Kilmarnock Street along the James P. Kelleher Rose Garden will be closed between 4:15 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. on Friday, September 9 to accommodate event vehicles for the annual Boston Parks & Recreation Rose Garden Party. The road will be reduced to one lane and traffic may back up on Park Drive. No parking restrictions will be in place. During the closure, an illuminated sign will alert drivers and cones will mark the active travel lane.
About the Rose Garden Party
The Rose Garden Party, hosted by Honorary Chair Mayor Michelle Wu, is an annual fundraiser that benefits year-round programs in City of Boston public parks and allows thousands of children and families to enjoy performance and participatory programs, as well as special events. This year's event is taking place in the James P. Kelleher Rose Garden on Friday September 9, from 5 - 7:30 p.m.
