City Council meeting

All Council Meetings are held at 12 p.m. (noon) in the Christopher A. Iannella Chamber on the fifth floor of Boston City Hall, unless otherwise noted. All meetings are open to the public and are also available on Xfinity Channel 8, RCN 82, Fios 964, and livestream via City Council TV.

Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to apply for, and to accept and expend, the Federal Fiscal Year 2021 Continuum of Care grant funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in the amount not to exceed Forty Five Million Dollars ($45,000,000.00) These funds will be used to support programs that provide services and housing to persons experiencing homelessness.2021 1011
Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of One Million Seven Hundred Sixty Eight Thousand Three Hundred Seventy Eight Dollars and Fifty Six Cents ($1,768,378.56) in the form of a grant for the FY22 State Elder Lunch Program, awarded by the MA Executive Office of Elder Affairs to be administered by the Age Strong Commission. Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of One Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,500,000.00) in the form of a grant for the FY21 Securing the Cities, awarded by the United States Department of Homeland Security to be administered by the Police Department. The grant will fund Year 2 of the Securing the Cities grant project, which enhances the ability of the United States to detect and prevent terrorist attacks and other high consequence events utilizing nuclear or other radiological materials that pose a threat to homeland security in high risk urban areas.2021 1013
