    expend Four Million Dollars ($4,000,000.00) in the form of a grant from 

    the City of Boston's Inclusionary Development Policy for the purpose of 

    producing and preserving affordable housing in the City of Boston.

    0537    Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to apply for, accept and 

    expend the Federal Fiscal Year 2022 Housing and Community 

    Development funds from the United States Department of Housing and 

    Urban Development (HUD). This Order includes the following grant 

    programs, with final awards estimated not to exceed the totals listed. 

    Community Development Block Grant $18,000,000.00, HOME Investment 

    Partnership Program $7,000,000.00, Housing Opportunities for Persons 

    with AIDS $4,000,000.00 and the Emergency Solution Grant $2,000,000.00.

    0538    Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the 

    amount of Two Hundred Eighty Six Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty Dollars 

    ($286,860.00) in the form of a grant for the FY22 Senior Companion 

    Program, awarded by the Corporation for National and Community Service 

    to be administered by the Age Strong Commission. The grant will fund 

    reimbursement for travel and meals, plus stipends.

    0539    Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the 

    amount of One Hundred Eighty Thousand Dollars ($180,000.00) in the 

    form of a grant for the Community First Partnership, awarded by Mass Save 

    to be administered by the Environment Department. The grant will fund 

    outreach and engagement with environmental justice communities to drive 

    increased awareness and measurable participation in energy efficiency 

    programs.

    0540    Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the 

    amount of One Hundred Thirty Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Three 

    Dollars ($137,753.00) in the form of a grant for FY22 Retirement Senior 

    Volunteer Program, awarded by the Corporation for National and 

    Community Service to be administered by the Age Strong Commission. The 

    grant will fund food and travel reimbursement for senior community service 

    volunteers.

    Dollars ($266,500.00) in the form of a grant for the FY22 Local Cultural 

    Council Program, awarded by the Massachusetts Cultural Council to be 

    administered by the Mayor’s Office of Arts & Culture. The grant will fund 

    innovation arts, humanities and interpretive sciences programming that 

    enhance the quality of life in our city, submits a report recommending that 

    the order ought to pass.

    referred on March 23, 2022, Docket #0402,  Message and order approving a 

    supplemental appropriation of Two Million Nine Hundred Fifty Four 

    Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty Eight Dollars ($2,954,828.00) to 

    cover the FY22 cost items contained within the collective bargaining 

    agreement between the City of Boston and the American Federation of 

    State, County and Municipal Employees AFL CIO Council 93 (AFSCME). 

    The term of the contract is July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2023. The major 

    provisions of the contract include base wage increases of 2% , 1.5% and 2% 

    to be given in October of each fiscal year of the contract term, submits a 

    report recommending that the order ought to pass.

    the FY22 appropriation for the Reserve for Collective Bargaining by Two 

    Million Nine Hundred Fifty Four Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty 

    Eight Dollars ($2,954,828.00) to provide funding for various department for 

    the FY22 increases contained within the collective bargaining agreement 

    between the City of Boston and the American Federation of State, County 

    and Municipal Employees AFL CIO, Council 93 (AFSCME), submits a 

    report recommending that the order ought to pass.
