Virtual tree removal hearing: 1158 Tremont Street

The hearing will be held at 10 a.m. on a request for the removal of three crabapple trees measuring 6, 8, and 11 inches dbh (diameter at breast height), two red oak trees measuring 13 and 16 inches dbh, and one Norway maple tree measuring 11 inches dbh due to redevelopment of the Whittier Street Boston Housing Authority site at 1158 Tremont Street in Roxbury.

The hearing will be held by the City of Boston’s Tree Warden (or designee).  Please note that due to the current pandemic the hearing will be a virtual meeting via ZOOM.  Written comments or questions may be submitted to parks@boston.gov prior to the hearing.  The information for the ZOOM hearing is as follows:

Public testimony will be taken or may be provided prior to the hearing in writing to the Tree Warden, Boston Parks and Recreation Department, 1010 Massachusetts Avenue, 3^rd floor, Roxbury, MA 02118 or by emailing parks@boston.gov with “Tremont Street Tree Hearing” in the subject line.
