We work to give Boston students the education and skills to succeed in life.
We oversee all of the City's educational programs, with the goal of making sure all students and families get high-quality, equitable education services and support from the City of Boston. We also build ties between the state, City, private companies, and colleges and universities. We give special focus to:

- Bilingual education
- Technical education
