Rebecca Gutman has worked in the labor movement for close to 20 years, organizing and representing low-income healthcare and human service workers. She has always worked at the intersection of movements, combining economic justice with disability rights work, as well as other justice movements. Prior to working in the labor movement, Ms. Gutman worked both in the disability community and in the public health field organizing in rural Appalachia around the importance of early detection of breast cancer.
