Tax-Exempt Equipment Lease Financing
The City of Boston, Massachusetts (the “City”), acting by and through its Chief Financial Officer and Collector-Treasurer (the “Official”), invites sealed bids for Lessor in the transaction generally described above, and more particularly set forth in the Invitation for Bids (the “IFB”).
Bids may be obtained at the Office of the Collector-Treasurer, City Hall Room M-35, One City Hall Square, Boston, Massachusetts 02201-1020 commencing at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Monday, October 25, 2021. The aggregate amount of the 2022-1 Equipment Schedule Financing including cost of issuance shall not exceed $31,000,000. The IFB shall be available up to the deadline for the submission of Responses on November 9 at 12:00 p.m.
Unless all bids are rejected, the Official shall award the contract to the bidder whose bid (i) results in the lowest net effective interest rate (computed on a true interest cost (TIC) basis), and (ii) is otherwise responsive to the IFB. Bid prices shall remain in effect for the entire applicable period, or periods, of performance.
