Madison Park Educational Veterinary Clinic
Boston Public Schools is interested in creating a career–technical education program in veterinary science at Madison Park Technical Vocational High School. To support the classroom learning of its veterinary science students, BPS is considering supporting a veterinary clinic to provide on-the-job training while offering vet services to the public.
BPS is interested in finding out:
- Whether there are organizations interested in managing such a vet clinic or otherwise partnering to support it;
- Whether, in the opinion of respondents, this plan is feasible and likely to succeed;
- Whether there are other ways to structure an educational veterinary clinic that would be more likely to be successful.
This RFI is purely information-gathering. No contract will be awarded as a result.
The RFI will be available on the City’s supplier portal boston.gov/departments/procurement on or before Monday, 10/28/2024, after 12:00 P.M. EST.
BPS will be accepting proposals until Friday, 11/22/2024 at 5:00 P.M. EST however we will be reviewing the RFI as they come in.
